Selena Gomez’s Epic Basketball Fail Will Make You Laugh Out Loud

Selena Gomez Teases “SG3” Era–And Fans Are Freaking Out!

At least Selena Gomez gave it her best shot.

While recently hanging out with friends, the “Same Old Love” singer took her pals up on their challenge of playing basketball and let’s just say—we don’t think Selena is thinking of the heading to the NBA as her next career move.

“So, my friends asked me if I could do a three-pointer and I said ‘yes,”’ the 28-year-old star confessed as she broke out in a laugh. One pal then noted, “So, here we are.”

Before taking her position on the court, Selena turned to the camera to reveal a pre-game injury that might affect her chances of making it in for her three-pointer.

“Update—I recently had an injury in the kitchen,” the actress shared in her Instagram Story video while comically showing off a Band-Aid on one of her middle fingers. “And I may not be able to perform well, so you know.”

After getting some encouragement from one of her friends, Selena took the shot—and swiftly missed. The “We Don’t Talk Anymore” artist jokingly wrote as the caption during her attempt, “So… I can’t.”

Although the Rare Beauty founder showed some great sportsmanship after all, we can think of quite a few other things the pop star is busy excelling in.

In addition to releasing Rare, launching her beauty company and hosting her very own HBO Max cooking show, the actress is also starring in the new Hulu miniseries, Murders in the Building, which will premiere on August 31.

With all of the star’s latest ventures in mind, we can see why Selena has had a little less time to shoot in the gym.

Netflix Summons a Second Season of Shadow and Bone: See the Cast React

“Shadow and Bone” Stars Share Best Fan Experiences

Netflix has summoned more of Shadow and Bone.

Yes, on Monday, June 7, the streaming service announced that the fantasy drama will have a second season. The cast, which includes Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Amita Suman and more, reacted to the news in a video uploaded to YouTube.

“I think it worked,” the series’ star Jessie, who plays Sun Summoner Alina Starkov, noted at the start of the clip. Co-star Kit Young, who plays Jesper Fahey, then took over and added, “Your summoning powers worked.”

As footage showed fans trying their hands at summoning light, the cast confirmed that season two of the show is a go. Ben, who plays General Kirigan (a.k.a. The Darkling), announced, “Spoiler alert: I’ll see you in season two.”

For those who’ve yet to tune into the show, Netflix offered up the following description for season one: “In a world cleaved in two by a massive barrier of perpetual darkness, where unnatural creatures feast on human flesh, a young soldier uncovers a power that might finally unite her country. But as she struggles to hone her power, dangerous forces plot against her. Thugs, thieves, assassins and saints are at war now, and it will take more than magic to survive.”

The series is based on Leigh Bardugo‘s popular Grishaverse novels, which includes the Shadow and Bone trilogy, the Six of Crows duology and the King of Scars duology. So, it’s no wonder that Netflix is moving forward with more episodes.
